Bradford Bulls kick off this weekend’s Betfred League 1 action at home to Newcastle Thunder on Friday, Bulls are currently looking like favourites to gain automatic promotion as they are two points clear of York City Knights.
Saturday’s only game sees London Skolars face Coventry Bears, Bears are currently one place below Skolars but are seven points behind them.
Third placed Hunslet travel to Workington Town, Town are currently in fifth looking to peel away from the chasing pack, both teams won tight games last week, Hunslet won by one point while Town won by two points.
Doncaster will be hoping to add more pressure on Workington, however, they face a tough trip to York who have won their last four games.
Whitehaven’s top points scorer Dan Abram will be looking to lead his team into the top five, they are currently only two points behind fifth placed Workington, Whitehaven will face North Wales Crusaders who narrowly lost out to Hunslet last week.
Keighley Cougars will travel to second from bottom Hemel Stags on Sunday, Benn Hardcastle will be hoping to add more points to his tally as he chases York’s Connor Robinson at the top of the leader board.
