Toronto Wolfpack secured the League Leaders’ Shield with a 68-4 win over Sheffield Eagles, ten different players scored a try for the Canadian side while Gareth O’Brien kicked ten goals.

Wolfpack secured the Betfred Championship League Leaders’ Shield with three games to spare, eight points ahead of their closest rivals Toulouse Olympique.
The French side were hoping to pull away from the chasing pack to guarantee their place in the Super 8s qualifiers, however, they faced a London Broncos side one place and two points behind fourth place.

Both Olympique and Broncos came into the game full of confidence after wins the week before, however, the two sides could not be separated at the final whistle with the score finishing 20-20.
In the race for the Super 8s qualifiers, Halifax faced Featherstone Rovers, who at the start of the day were a point and position ahead of them, however, Halifax beat Rovers 34-20 to take them into third place level on points with Olympique.
Five teams are currently battling it out to make the Super 8s qualifiers, with only three spaces remaining, Leigh Centurions are the last remaining team vying for a place in the Super 8s.
Centurions faced a tough trip to Batley Bulldogs on Sunday and needed a win to keep up with the teams ahead of them, captain Harrison Hansen led his team to victory with a man-of-the-match performance and two tries in their 30-12 victory.
At the bottom the table Rochdale Hornets and Swinton Lions went head to head, Lions beat Dewsbury Rams last week, so were full of confidence, however, Hornets picked up two vital points to go level on points with Lions.
Rams picked up two points at home to Barrow Raiders to extend the gap to three points between them and the bottom two sides.
