Hunslet Club Parkside made history on Saturday, but they were made to work as they edged out Siddal 12-6 on home turf.
The Leeds outfit's win meant they became the first-ever team to complete a 'perfect' NCL Premier Division season.
They haven't lost since a 12-6 defeat to Normanton Knights in April 2017 and have capped off a remarkable run of four-successive table-topping seasons (they enjoyed back-to-back promotions between 2015-2017).
Gareth Blackburn converted a Jack Georgiou try for Siddal, but scores from Connor Squires and Liam Thompson, as well as two Jamie Fields goals, saw Paul McShane's men take the spoils.
Elsewhere in the top tier, Kells, who lost 18-6 at West Hull and Rochdale Mayfield - 36-16 winners at home to Underbank Rangers - were spared relegation on points difference alone; Normanton Knights joining Myton Warriors and Wigan St Pats in falling to Division 1 after a 28-8 defeat at Wath Brow Hornets.
Already-relegated Myton ended their campaign with a 24-12 home defeat to Egremont Rangers, while Wigan St Pats put up a fight at Thatto Heath Crusaders, but fell to a 22-14 reverse.
